Police Seek Identity of Robbery Suspect (Press Release)

ABILENE, TX – The Abilene Police Department is seeking the identity of the suspect pictured below, for a robbery which occurred at a grocery store located on the 3300 block of South 14th Street on Friday, October 28, 2016, just before noon.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his 20’s or 30’s, standing around 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He was wearing a grey knit hat with a mustang horse patch on the front and sunglasses, tan pullover shirt or jacket which zipped in the front, navy blue athletic type pants, black shoes and grey gloves. The suspect was also wearing ear buds connected to an electronic device on an arm band.

On Friday, October 28 at 11:57, the suspect entered the store, walked up to the Service counter located in the front of the store, handed the clerk a note demanding money, and fled the scene on foot. The suspect took an undetermined amount of cash from the store. If anyone has information on this suspect, they are urged to contact Abilene Crime Stoppers, (325) 676 - 8477 (TIPS).
