Burglary Suspect Arrested (Press Release)

Early this morning a man broke into a north side Abilene residence by removing an air conditioner unit from a window. The female resident, who was home at the time, hid in a bathroom and called 911. Responding patrol officers entered the residence and arrested Rogelio Chiquito, 8-30-83, for Burglary of a Habitation, a Second Degree Felony. Chiquito was searched incident to his arrest and was found to be in possession of approximately 6.9g of meth amphetamine and 0.4g of cocaine. He will also be charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance (meth amphetamine) in a Drug Free Zone which is a First Degree Felony and Possession of Cocaine which is a Third Degree Felony.
