THE MELVIN MARTIN CENTER FOR CHILDREN’S SAFETY
INVITES YOU TO THEIR ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL

ABILENE TX- Friends of Safety City, Abilene Emergency Services and the staff at the Melvin Martin Center for Children’s Safety (Safety City), want to thank the residents of the Big Country for their continued support. They invite the public to the Fall Festival this coming Saturday, October 25, 4-6 p.m.

This Saturday the staff will open their doors and invite families out to enjoy a great, safe place to trick-or-treat. Admission is free and families can tour the facilities. Citizens will also be able to speak with Police, Fire, Department of Public Safety and Safety City staff. Over 2 thousand dollars of prizes will be raffled off including an X-box 360 and flat screen television.

Children are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes. Food and beverages will be available and the sponsors will provide games, demonstrations and lots of treats! Children will be able to enter a drawing to win one of 6 children’s bicycles and two Big Wheels donated by the Abilene Police Officer’s Association.

If you are a business or community organization interested in celebrating getting involved in the festivities, you may contact Safety City at 325-676-6096 to reserve a booth. Business partners will be actively involved in handing out treats to the kids. All proceeds from the sale of food and beverages will benefit Safety City.
