Abilene Police Fraud Unit Arrests 4 Counterfeit Suspects (Press Release)

ABILENE, TX – The Abilene Police Department Fraud Unit, with the assistance of the Special Operation Division and SWAT, executed a search warrant in the 700 Block of Sycamore on Thursday, December 3, 2015.

Adrian Ortiz (19), D’Audre Hight (19), Tammy Hight (46), and Xavier Johnson (21), were all taken into custody. Police found a large amount of counterfeit money, marijuana and a firearm at the residence.

This week the Abilene Police Department received two separate reports of counterfeit twenty dollar bills passed at two local fast food establishments. The first was from a bank drop from a burger restaurant on North 1st. The second counterfeit twenty dollar bill was from a pizza restaurant, located on Mockingbird. An investigation identified possible suspect(s) in these counterfeit cases resulting in the arrests of the four suspects.
