Five Suspects Arrested on Various Drug Charges (Press Release)

ABILENE, TX – Abilene Police arrested four suspects on various drug and identity theft chargs. Investigations lead to the arrests of the suspects in three separate investigations.

Ricky Shivers (34 yoa) and Natasha Hearn (37 yoa) were both arrested in the 700 block of East North 12th Street in north Abilene on Friday, April 5, 2019. Detectives served a warrant at the home, arresting both suspects. Shivers was discovered hiding inside the residence.

Natasha Hearn – 3rd Degree Felony Forgery, State Jail Felony Identity Theft, State Jail Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, State Jail Felony Identity Theft, Class B Poss. Of Marijuana, Class A Hindering Apprehension


Roberto Gann (30 yoa) and Brenda Cantu (36 yoa) were both arrested at a home located in the 2200 Block of Fannin Street in north Abilene on Friday, April 5, 2019. Detectives served a search warrant at the home arresting both suspects. Cantu fled the scene but was quickly apprehended. Roberto Gann – Second Degree Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, State Jail Felony Identity Theft. Brenda Cantu – Possession of Methamphetamine (over 2 grams).

Donald Leonard (53 yoa) was arrested at a home in the 3600 Block of Brookhollow Drive in south Abilene on Thursday, April 4, 2019. Detectives served a warrant after an investigation led them to Leonard.Donald Leonard – Parole Warrant, State Jail Felony Possession of Cocaine.
