Toni Harvey Burglary (Press Release)

On July 21st, 2011 at approximately 9:57 p.m. officers of the Abilene Police Department Street Crimes Unit served two outstanding arrest warrants on a subject that was staying at a south side hotel. Inside his hotel room were numerous items belonging to Toni Harvey, mother of Hayden Harvey. Toni Harvey’s residence in Callahan County had recently been burglarized.

The suspect arrested has been identified as Cody Wayne Cash WM DOB 080985.

Mr. Cash refused to cooperate and answer any questions. He was transported to the Taylor County Jail where he was booked on the two outstanding warrants for Forgery and Theft. Those charges are unrelated to the burglary of Mrs. Harvey’s residence.

The Callahan County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the burglary investigation.

The Harvey Family is offering a $1,000 reward for the return of two laptop computers and a wooden jewelry box that have not yet been recovered.
